Backshop Attendant – Job Description
Position Summary:
The Backshop Attendant is a key member of the golf operations team, responsible for maintaining equipment, assisting members and guests, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable golf experience.

Key Responsibilities
• Golf Cart Maintenance: Wash, clean, and refuel golf carts to ensure they are ready for use.
• Club & Bag Care: Clean and organize rental clubs and members’ golf bags before and after rounds.
• Driving Range Operations: Pick up and clean range balls, maintain ball dispensers, and ensure the area is tidy.
• Customer Service: Greet members and guests, answer questions, and provide directions or assistance as needed.
• Facility Upkeep: Keep the Back Shop and surrounding areas clean and organized, including washrooms and clubhouse exteriors.
• Opening/Closing Duties: Prepare the facility for daily operations and secure it at the end of the day.
• Special Projects: Assist with events, tournaments, or other tasks as assigned by management.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and organizational ability.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical stamina to lift up to 30 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and early mornings.
• Golf knowledge is an asset but not required.

• Hourly Wage: Starting at $17.20/hour.
