Job Overview
As a back shop attendant, you'll be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and organized back shop area, and assisting with golf equipment and cart operations, including greeting guests, preparing carts for play, and cleaning and storing golf clubs.
Duties
- Greet members and guests in a courteous and friendly manner.
- Assist customers with golf carts, clubs, and other equipment needs.
- Provide information about the course and its facilities.
- Help customers load and unload golf bags onto carts.
- Handle inquiries and resolve customer issues in a professional manner.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the back shop area and ensure that equipment is properly stored and organized.
- Prepare golf carts for play, ensuring they are clean, functional, and ready for use.
- Clean and store golf clubs after rounds.
- Ensure the driving range is well-maintained and stocked with golf balls.
- Assist with other tasks as assigned by the Pro Shop staff or management.
Experience
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- A willingness to work as part of a team.
- Knowledge of golf or willingness to learn.
- Past experience working as a back shop/outside services attendant at a golf course.
Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 2 months
Pay: $15.00 per hour
