Lake Country Senior Housing Society non-profit is hiring for an LPN position.
We are currently seeking an Assisted Living Coordinator - LPN designated role - at Blue Heron Villa. Blue Heron is a 25 suite assisted living site owned and operated by Lake Country Senior Housing Society in partnership with BC Housing and Interior Health.
The Assisted Living Coordinator's role involves creating, changing, and monitoring the service plans and medication management of each resident, supervising the staff (HCA's) involved in providing personal care, providing monthly wellness clinics to the residents, and collaborating with the leadership team, IHA representatives, and local pharmacies to provide reports, plans and programs for the benefit of the organization and its residents.
Education, Qualifications and Experience:
- Licensed practical Nurse with membership in good standing with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of British Columbia
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize work to meet defined time lines.
- Skilled communication skills both orally and written.
- Effective supervisory, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- Computer and keyboard skills, knowledge of Microsoft office.

This position will start at $34.20/hr. We offer extended health, dental, life insurance, sick days, and 3 weeks vacation. There is an opportunity to have flexible hours during the work week in order to fit the right candidate and their work/life balance with an expectation the site and residents needs will be met.
