The Department of Biology is seeking Contract Academic Staff to deliver the following team-taught course at Brandon University for the 2025 – 2026 academic year. Lectures must be delivered in-person.
15:162 Cells, Genetics and Evolution, Sections A01 and A02 (2 credit hours)
A basic course in biological principles including cell biology, cell division, genetics and evolution. This course is intended for majors and minors and is normally considered a prerequisite for all further courses in Biology.
The successful candidate will be teaching the genetic module of the course for 4 weeks, Fall term currently scheduled in October. Slot 04, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 11:40 AM – 12:30 PM, and in Slot 10, on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 AM – 9:50 AM.
Qualifications: A PhD in Genetics or Biology and evidence of successful teaching are required. Salary: $5,238.00
