The Department of Physics & Astronomy is seeking Contract Academic Staff to teach the following laboratory sections at Brandon University for the 2025 – 2026 academic year.
74:161 Foundations of Physics I Lab, Section Z02, 1.5 credit hours
Fall Term, Thursdays 13:40 – 16:30
74:162 Foundations of Physics II Lab, Section Z01, 1.5 credit hours
Winter Term, Thursdays 13:40 – 16:30
74:275 Modern Physics Lab, Section Z01, 0.75 credit hours
Fall Term, Mondays 13:40 – 16:30
74:272 Electricity and Magnetism Lab, Section Z01, 0.75 credit hours
Winter Term, Tuesdays 13:40 – 16:30
Qualifications: A M.Sc. degree is preferred, however, candidates with a B.Sc. and a successful record of teaching experience may be considered. Applicants may seek to establish an experiential/traditional equivalency to the B.Sc. and are invited to contact the Chair of the Selection Committee at the address below on how to establish equivalent academic or professional credentials.
Salary: $7,857.00 per 3 credit hours
