How will you make an impact in this role?
In this role you will execute and deliver the Welcomed Acceptance strategy to drive merchant value, engagement and acceptance across Canada. With a multi-channel focus and as the main stakeholder for multiple groups, the ability to collaborate, execute, and deliver thought leadership is critical.
Responsibilities include:
- Partner and be the day-to-day contact with two external vendors who manage Amex’s Visits & Calls programs to drive merchant engagement and acceptance in Canada. Focus on fostering relationships, negotiating with vendors and maintaining accountability and deliverables.
- Leverage campaign analytics and dashboards to inform future campaigns and messaging strategy.
- Work collectively with stakeholders including marketing, Compliance, Legal and analytics teams to drive meaningful merchant engagements.
- Partner with creative agencies to develop impactful and innovative marketing tools to be leveraged through the Visits & Calls program.
- Develop well thought out PowerPoint updates for senior leaders which align with strategic plan.
Minimum Qualifications
- University Degree or equivalent combination of education and business experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent relationship-building skills, including external partners & agencies.
- Ability to operate proactively and independently in a fast-moving, high-energy team is a must.
- Strong communication, storytelling and negotiation skills required Superior attention to detail and flawless execution skills are a must.
- Analytical skills will be highly regarded.
- Strong MS excel skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
