Job Profile
The Marketing & Social Media Specialist will manage Delta Hotels by Marriott and Cordo Resto + Bar & Scott’s Inn & Suites, Scott’s on the Go Eat’s social media profiles and support in executing the overall marketing strategy. Develop and maintain but not limited to social video feeds, trending social networking sites and internal marketing collateral to align with brand standards. Prepare marketing and advertising strategies, plans, and objectives, creating and organizing promotional material.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Implement social media strategies that build brand awareness, generate inbound traffic and product adoption.
- Creation of inspirational, informative, and engaging content while following brand standards
- Stay current with AI and social media trends and best practices.
- Develop creative ideas, suggest new innovative ways of delivering digital content and keep up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends.
- Create graphics and edit photos, working with the internal team when necessary.
- Create a monthly content calendar for business in Invictus profile
- Create content and manage monthly promotions.
- Respond to guest queries through social networks.
- Work with relevant influencers or complementary brands to grow social following organically.
- Deliver comprehensive analytics and data presentations.
- Participate in regular departmental and cross departmental strategy meetings.
- Proofread as required.
- Attend events, committee meetings and functions as and when appropriate.
- Monitor and optimize SEO performance, collaborating with MDS or external agencies.
- Experience running Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram) and Google Ads.
- Proficient in GA4 (Google Analytics 4) and other analytical tools.
Qualifications
- Strong project management or organizational skills
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their respective participants (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube etc.) and how they can be deployed.
- Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format. Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Team player, with the confidence to take the lead and guide other departments when necessary.
- An understanding of or experience in developing marketing campaigns,
- Proficient in using CMS tools like WordPress and Wix.
- Proficient in graphic design tools such as Canva, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Skilled in photography and photo editing.
- Good technical understanding and can learn new hardware and software quickly.
