ROLE OVERVIEW
The Trade Marketing Specialist will ensure the development and execution of Caesarstone’s multi-channel marketing strategy and position Caesarstone as retail’s best partner. Channel Marketing acts as the core link and liaison between Marketing and Sales, ensuring a cohesive brand experience across all channels and retail touchpoints while aligning trade strategies to the business plan through a detailed playbook by channel, designed to achieve goals. Responsibilities include securing intel and representing the voice of the channel to help inform product strategy and innovation roadmap. Working closely with Brand Management, the Trade Specialist will develop the go-to-market strategy and plans for new product introductions (NPIs) and work on strategic development and deployment of displays and samples. This role will develop and implement marketing programs and promotions that significantly increase Caesarstone’s presence at retail.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Management, Strategy Development & Execution
- Facilitate and manage various trade/channel marketing projects and customer specific initiatives to increase sales and profit within the different channels.
- Execute on trade specific marketing plans inclusive of competitive analysis, merchandising, incentive programs, promotional plans, and distribution plans that ensure a cohesive brand experience across content and assets.
- Drive cross functional sales activation plans (i.e. CS Connect, MOS, CS Studio)
- Help develop and deploy channel partner communication on programs, pricing, product and special programs, events, product specific information, newsletters etc.
- Develop and deploy sales training tools and sales enablement, including literature, presentations, promotions, CEUs, planogram displays, price list and other merchandising needs.
- Obtain and review competitive literature, sales and market analysis, data and product content to support product management initiatives.
- Merchandising on coordination and deployment of Omnichannel assets, including management of outside vendors as needed.
- Collaborate with sales and outside merchandising agencies to create and improve the POS reset process.
- Plan and management of industry trade shows/leverage relevant associations in Canada.
- Manage the sample ordering process-including but not limited to placing orders, following up on status, tracking, forecasting.
- Responsible for merchandising and trade focused budget management (samples, POS, promo & print, managed programs, associations etc.)
Consumer Insights & Category Knowledge
- Extract insights from a wide range of internal and external data to inform business decisions and create opportunities for growth.
- Identify industry and competitive trends and make recommendations for action plans and programs to address these issues.
- Advise on market trends and competitive activity.
- Expert understanding of category including key drivers, overall competitive framework, brand/product landscape.
- Develop annual learning plan that provides actionable learning & insights to inform business decisions.
- Spend time in the field for auditing, information gathering, meetings with customers.
Integrated Marketing
- Working collaboratively with cross functions (Brand Marketing, Digital & Global) to develop annual plans with a channel marketing mix that creates memorable multi-channel customer experiences.
- Support the launch of new Caesarstone products, developing a trade channel strategy and rollout plan.
- Communicate plans to internal stakeholders to ensure transparency throughout the organization.
- Be the subject-matter-expert when it comes to best practice for successful trade channel initiatives.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing
- 3+ years marketing management experience, preferably within the Luxury or Prestige industry.
- Proven working experience in sales and trade channel marketing.
- Ability to quickly assess and execute the logistical components of bringing a marketing idea to fruition.
- Understanding of point-of-sale and retail channel dynamics.
- Knowledge of how to connect and communicate with a variety of market segments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid analytical skills in forecasting and analyzing trends and ROIs.
- Ability to attend and conduct presentations.
- Up to 30-40% travel required.

The salary range for the role is $55,000 - $69,000
