Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Officer Manager to join our team in Vernon, BC. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and problem solving skills, and they will be able to offer administrative support to ensure the high efficient operation of our office.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate office administrative procedures, ensuring their efficient implementation.
- Provide support in preparing the operating budget and assist in inventory management, maintaining financial controls.
- Effectively communicate through phone and email to ensure accurate and timely completion of all administrative tasks.
- Perform various administrative functions, including organizing incoming and outgoing documents and relaying information.
- Manage office files and establish an efficient system to facilitate access to files and records for other staff members.
- Develop, monitor and execute project initiatives within designated timelines and budget constraints, providing written progress reports and related correspondence as necessary.
- Arrange and schedule company meetings and appointments as required.
- Assist team members, ensuring a clear understanding of job responsibilities and maintaining company efficiency.
- Coordinate and plan for office services.
- Address and resolve work-related issues and challenges, including handling tenant disputes, and submitting progress reports as required.
- Gather information and data on company performance and compile periodic reports and correspondence.
Requirements:
- Education: Completion of post-secondary education is required.
- 3 years high-level administration position experience is required.
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking skills, and problem solving skills.
- Experienced in using Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
- Proficient in managing multiple projects, multi-tasking, and effectively organizing time in a fast-paced environment.
- Extensive knowledge of office management procedures.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Customer service experience is an asset.
