Job Description
Are you a storyteller, a creative thinker, and a detail-driven organizer all rolled into one? We’re looking for a Marketing & Communications Specialist who can bring fresh ideas, sharp writing, and strong design skills to our team. This 14-month contract role (with the possibility of becoming permanent) is your chance to make a real impact—supporting internal and external communications, amplifying our brand, and helping us connect meaningfully with our people and communities.
This role reports to the Marketing Manager and plays a key part in driving engaging content, improving processes, and ensuring our brand voice is heard clearly and consistently.
What You’ll Do:
Partner with the Marketing Manager to manage and track the yearly marketing content plan.
Review and refine processes to make sure our messages shine across all internal and external channels.
Create and update internal content that keeps our people connected and informed.
Write and edit content for websites, social media, newsletters, reports, print, and more.
Review creative assets designed in-house, working with vendors when needed, and keep everything on-brand.
Support the execution of events—from internal townhalls to conferences and external sponsorships.
Bring forward new ideas and perspectives to strengthen our marketing and communications strategies.
Coordinate marketing projects and help keep everything running smoothly.
Qualifications
What You Bring
5–7 years’ experience in marketing, communications, or public relations.
Strong writing and editing skills- you know how to grab attention and keep it.
A creative background with graphic design knowledge.
Comfort with tools like Adobe Creative Cloud, Sprout, Hootsuite, or Notion.
An understanding of how to build effective communications strategies for both internal and external audiences.
A proactive, independent work style—and the ability to juggle multiple priorities with ease.
