A day in the life of an Accounts Receivable Clerk
A day in the life of an Accounts Receivable Clerk at First Onsite is all about keeping the cash flow on track and building great relationships along the way. You'll start by checking in on outstanding receivables, making collection calls, and updating notes so everything's current. Throughout the day, you'll monitor customer accounts for delays or irregularities, investigate and resolve any issues, and keep the lines of communication open by phone, email, or even in person. By day's end, you've helped ensure payments are accurate, deadlines are met, and the books are balanced-keeping the business running smoothly.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years' A/R experience with a finance background or education
- Proactive, confident communicator who enjoys chasing payments and presenting to management
- Eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Organized, accurate, and quick with data
- Thrives at juggling priorities and hitting deadlines
