ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE CLERK

We are currently seeking a highly motivated professional to join our team as an Entry Level Accounts Receivable Clerk based out of our Kelowna Office. This is a full-time position and an exciting opportunity for individuals wishing to further their career in a growing organization.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as the first point of contact by handling incoming customer calls with efficiency and professionalism.
- Respond to customer inquiries via email, with a focus on timely problem-solving and clear communication.
- Process and balance customer credit card payments, EFTs, and cheque deposits to maintain financial accuracy.
- Ability to calculate account adjustments and update account information.
- Open new customer accounts and send welcome emails.
- Perform filing duties and carry out diverse data entry tasks, providing essential support to day-to-day office operations.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
- Accurate data entry – (minimal errors i.e. - duplicate invoices / transposed #s).
- Deadlines and cut offs met.
WORK EXPERIENCE
- 1-year Accounts Receivable
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Ability to thrive in both team-oriented settings and independent roles, demonstrating accountability, initiative, and consistent high productivity—even with minimal supervision.
- Exceptional communication skills, with a strong ability to engage effectively through both online chat and verbal interactions.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Excellent keyboarding skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Teams.
- Knowledge of general accounting procedures an asset.
- Strong commitment to attendance and punctuality.
Special Requirements
- Some overtime required during peak periods.
