We are seeking a meticulous and efficient Accounts Receivable / Billing Specialist to join our finance team. This role will focus on processing tickets, managing invoicing, and ensuring the accuracy of our receivables. Key Responsibilities:
- Process oilfield trucking tickets, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation before invoicing clients.
- Generate and send invoices based on ticket information, in accordance with client contracts and agreements.
- Manage and monitor all incoming payments, ensuring they are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
- Follow up on outstanding invoices, resolving any issues or discrepancies with clients.
- Reconcile customer accounts and ensure all discrepancies are promptly addressed.
- Collaborate with operations and dispatch teams to verify ticket details and ensure seamless processing.
- Prepare AR aging reports and assist with month-end closing activities.
- Maintain organized records of all transactions, tickets, and billing documents.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or certification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable within the oilfield services or trucking industry.
- Experience with ticket processing in the oilfield or transportation industry is an asset.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and work in a high-pressure environment.
