About The Role:
Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Manager, the successful applicant will be part of a team of individuals who provide excellent customer service to newspaper subscribers, contractors and distributors by assisting with various administrative functions relating to customer and single copy (dealer) accounts.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing superior customer service to customers
• Entering new subscribers into databases
• Inputting data into multiple subscriber databases
• Reviewing and analyzing data to facilitate effective decisions regarding subscriber concerns
• Processing of payments via a number of payment methods, types and rate structures. This includes input, collation, documentation, filing and following up with other Administration representatives and related groups and stakeholders
• Processing Refunds, Returns & Adjustments on customer accounts

Qualifications include:

• 3+ years in a service environment with superior customer service skills;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skill;
• Demonstrated data entry/keyboarding skills, with emphasis on speed and accuracy;
• Ability to process and prioritize a high volume of work accurately and efficiently;
• Proven ability to analyze and interpret large volumes of data and make decisions based on interpretation of data;
• Demonstrated organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy;
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment with changing priorities;
• Highly organized, able to work independently as well as take direction
• Previous experience in the Publishing, Digital or Media industry would be considered assets.
