We are seeking a confident, personable, and professional individual to join our team as a Host. This hybrid role plays a key part in both creating a welcoming first impression for guests and maintaining a safe, respectful environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service orientation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage crowd control and conflict with professionalism.

Your goal will be to provide a high-quality service that will help us maintain and attract customers.

Daily responsibilities will include the following:

Guest Experience / Host Duties:

· Greet guests warmly upon arrival and thank them as they leave

· Manage the flow of guests entering and exiting the establishment

· Maintain waitlists and seating charts when applicable

· Communicate wait times clearly and manage expectations

· Ensure dress code, age, or entry policies are upheld

· Provide directions and answer questions about the venue

Door / Security Duties:

· Check identification to ensure legal age compliance (if applicable)

· Monitor entrances and exits for crowd control and guest safety

· De-escalate situations calmly and appropriately

· Address disturbances, enforce house policies, and remove individuals when necessary

· Conduct visual checks of guests for prohibited items or intoxication

· Liaise with law enforcement or emergency services if required

· Perform perimeter checks and monitor security cameras (if applicable)

Know and follow applicable food service safety regulations and best practices.

Be able to stand on your feet for hours at a time and be able to lift up to 25 lbs. regularly.

Be willing to work flexible hours that may include weekends and holidays.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

· Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or security preferred

· ProServe, Smart Serve, or equivalent (as required by your province or state)

· Security license (if applicable to your region)

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills

· Calm under pressure and able to manage difficult situations professionally

· Physically able to stand for long periods and manage crowd movement

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00-$20.00 per hour
