We’re hiring a skilled and motivated Dental Administrator to join us at our Charleswood clinic in Winnipeg. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for patients and help ensure the smooth operation of the office by managing administrative tasks and supporting the dental team. The position requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to customer service — all while contributing directly to the delivery of excellent patient care.

Responsibilities
- Welcome patients with professionalism and warmth, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage the daily schedule: confirm, adjust, and optimize appointments for efficient provider utilization.
- Maintain accurate, confidential patient records in electronic dental software (Dentrix).
- Verify insurance coverage, process claims, and guide patients with billing and payment inquiries.
- Support treatment planning by presenting options and associated costs in a clear, patient friendly manner.
- Oversee office communications, including phone calls, emails, and correspondence, with prompt and courteous responses.
- Collaborate closely with the dental team to ensure seamless workflow and an outstanding patient care experience.
Qualifications
· Previous experience as a dental administrator, medical office coordinator, or in a similar healthcare setting.
· Proficiency with dental or medical office software; familiarity with Dentrix is an asset.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and confidence with patients.
· Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
· Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance processes preferred.
· High level of integrity, with a strong understanding of patient confidentiality and privacy requirements.
· Detail-oriented with proven accuracy in record-keeping and administrative tasks.
· Professional demeanor, collaborative mindset, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient service.
