Permanent Full-Time (40 hours)
Monday to Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (flexible); Hybrid
In this role, you will:
- Support employees in enrolling in group benefits plan and group retirement savings plan
- Regularly update HRIS with employees’ group benefit plans, including plan selection and life event changes
- Diarize to follow up with employees when they turn certain milestone ages; update HRIS with benefits plan coverage and produce confirmation letters as needed
- Support the Benefits team with employees on short-term disability and long-term disability claims, consulting with Payroll and Workers’ Compensation Board as needed
- Act as one of the first points of contact for employees on their inquiries, as well as the liaison between Factors Group and Sun Life Financial on employees’ files
- Diploma in Business Administration, Communications, or other relevant discipline
- Experience in a benefits support role (1+ years)
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams) and Ceridian Dayforce HRIS
- Ability to learn new computer systems efficiently
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English
- Strong mathematical skills and numerical accuracy (an asset)
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; able to obtain needed information and follow up as necessary to successfully complete tasks (an asset)
