Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic baker to join our team. This role will focus primarily on producing our popular cookies and squares, ensuring each batch is consistent, delicious, and beautifully crafted.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, mix, and bake a variety of cookies and squares according to recipes and production schedules
- Ensure consistency in quality, appearance, and taste of baked goods
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace in compliance with food safety standards
- Manage inventory of ingredients and notify management of supply needs
- Assist with other baking tasks as needed (breads, cupcakes, etc.)
- Work collaboratively with the team to meet daily production goals
Qualifications:
- Previous baking experience (professional or home-based with strong skills) preferred
- Knowledge of gluten-free and dairy-free baking an asset, but training can be provided
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Team-oriented attitude with a passion for baking
