Overview
We are seeking a baker/cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and creating delicious treats for our customers. This is a small team so you may be required to assist the front of house team with customers.
Responsibilities
- Prep daily baked goods and sandwiches
- Batch sauces, dips, jams, and other cafe recipes
- Manage inventory and food storage
- Ensure kitchen cleanliness and meet health & safety standards
- Assist with menu development
- Occasionally support front-of-house when needed
Qualifications
- Prior experience in cafes, bakeries, or similar kitchens is an asset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including during high-volume rushes
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively
- Comfortable with early morning shifts and working on your feet for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs as needed (ingredients, equipment, deliveries)
- Food handler certification is required
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.20-$19.00 per hour
