Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a an assistant baker. This role is essential in ensuring the quality and presentation of our baked goods and culinary offerings. The ideal candidate will have a background in food production and preparation, with a focus on prep and baking. - Assist with mixing, scooping, baking, and decorating cookies
- Follow recipes and portioning guidelines accurately
- Prepare ingredients (e.g. chopping, weighing, sifting, labeling)
- Monitor baking times and temperatures for consistency
- Package cookies for display and special orders
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Sanitize equipment and tools regularly
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed
- Support with prep for special events or catering orders
- Communicate clearly with the baking and front-of-house team
Experience
- Proven experience in baking or pastry preparation is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with food production processes and kitchen operations is essential.
- Previous experience in customer service within the food industry is a plus.
- Experience in catering or restaurant environments will be advantageous.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
