Key Responsibilities:
Invoicing travel sales
Reconciling and posting commissions received
Reconciling group sales
Answering sales and commission inquiries from team members
Issuing cheques
Posting e-transfer and bank deposits
Balancing and maintaining accurate sales and accounting figures
Semi-monthly payroll processing
Reconciling bank accounts
Other accounting and office duties related to the position
We are looking for a reliable and trustworthy Accounting Assistant to join our team. Once trained, the ideal candidate will be able to work well with minimal supervision. The position requires utmost attention to detail, and strong collaboration and communication skills. The incumbent will report to the Senior Accountant, and liaise directly with frontline travel advisors and management.
Experience in the retail travel industry is considered a strong asset.
Work Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week
Education: High school diploma at minimum, College diploma in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred.
Experience: 1 year minimum experience in similar role.
Location: Our office is located in Vancouver, close to the Canada Line. On-site parking is available.

Pay: $43,000.00-$48,000.00 per year
