Summary
We are seeking an Accounting Administrator to join our team in Caledon, Ontario. In this role, you will be responsible for managing financial records, processing payroll, and ensuring accurate account reconciliations. Your contributions will be vital in supporting our financial operations and maintaining our reputation as a top employer.
Responsibilities
Duties
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping records using accounting software including QuickBooks.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure timely processing of invoices and payments.
- Perform account reconciliations, including bank reconciliation, to verify the accuracy of financial data.
- Conduct account analysis and assist in budgeting processes to support financial planning.
- Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Prepare financial reports as needed to provide insights into the organization's financial status.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information and resolve discrepancies.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an accounting administrator or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting and accounts receivable processes.
- Familiarity with accounting software QBO is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Understanding of payroll processes and corporate finance principles.
