Yard Worker/Merchandiser position: Full-Time Seasonal & Part Time Seasonal positions available.
Requirements are:
- Hold a valid Class 5 license with a clean driving record
- Fluent with Windows based operating systems
- Experience with Outlook and Excel considered an asset
- be physically fit and capable of lifting 50lbs
- strong, polite, customer service skills
- ability to multitask
- enjoys working outside
- skid steer loader experience an asset
- forklift experience an asset
- comfortable with hand tools ie: mini grinder, weed trimmer
- work hours 7:30am to 4:00pm, M-F
Summary
Yard Person/Merchandiser, you will be integral to our operations, ensuring efficient loading and unloading of materials while providing excellent customer service. This role requires core skills in heavy lifting and order picking, alongside premium skills in forklift operation and warehouse management systems. Another primary part of this role will require you to work in an office environment, exercising succinct communication skills and confident ability to work on a computer. You will report to the Supervisor and collaborate with the rest of the team to facilitate smooth operations. Your mechanical knowledge and computer competency will enhance our logistics processes, making you a vital asset in maintaining our high standards of service and efficiency.
Wage is $20.00 - 30.00 / hr depending on experience.
Successful applicants will have access to health, dental, extended medical, and attractive pension after 60 successful working days.
