Scaffold Yard Labourer and 5-Ton Driver

Safetech Scaffold Ltd is a scaffolding company located in Surrey, currently seeking a full-time yard Labourer/Driver. The yard labourer is responsible for the stacking and retrieving of gear/equipment in the yard. This is a physical role that requires bending, squatting, crouching reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds or more and working indoors/outdoors year-round. As a driver, the chosen candidate would be responsible to deliver and pick up scaffold equipment from job sites. Job duties:

• Stacking, organizing and count scaffold gear
• Unload and load equipment on and off truck
• Keep truck clean and maintain yard
• Maintain truck logs daily and as needed
• Inspect gear prior to and after leaving the job site and document damages
• Use forklift to move equipment
• Drop off and pickup equipment to and from job sites

Job qualifications:

• Have a Class 5 Drivers License with a clean drivers abstract - Required
• Confidently drive a pick-up truck, 3-Ton and 5-Ton truck - Required
• Knowledge of scaffold equipment (an asset)
• Forklift certification (an asset)

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
