Video Editor and Social Media Strategy Planner
Evolution Wheel is an innovative company that manufactures tires for the heavy construction and agriculture industries. We have been working hard on developing our video content marketing strategy as we have continued to be successful with this plan. We are at the stage now where that plan is quickly growing and needs to be approached with a bit more planning and structure. We also need more support in getting through all of the content we have already recorded to take it off our hard drives and brought to life for our audience.
The company is looking for a candidate who can both manage our social media strategy and assist with processing our video content. The successful candidate with have a strong grasp of current marketing trends and have the creativity to come up with a plan the company can implement to succeed with.
Responsibilities
· Generate video ideas and strategies for promoting the company’s products and content
· Edit raw video footage to create shorts and long form content to be used on all social platforms and the company’s website
· Act as a 2nd shooter to the company’s videographer during video content creation sessions where needed.
· Setup and organise video content creation sessions both locally and at onsite locations where travel is required.
· Work with the adobe suite to edit photos and videos as well as create ads and thumbnails for social platforms.
· Publish social content on the company’s social platforms and schedule postings.
· Work with the company’s digital campaign manager and videographer to create content for specific campaigns and crate content for Facebook, Instagram, tik tok and YouTube.
· Monitor and report digital marketing KPI results to management on a daily, weekly and monthly basis where applicable.
· Communicate and engage with social media users to help develop leads
· Be creative and come up with new ways to improve and contribute
Requirements
· Video and photo content creation and editing skills
· A certificate or degree in marketing or a related field
· Experience with tools such as Hubspot, Google Ad Words, Facebook Ads, Tik Tok, YouTube and related
· Able to talk to and work with the company’s customers in a professional manner
· Keen interest in the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing and lead generation
· Excellent professional communication skills
· Highly motivated individual who is goal oriented and able to work towards targets
· Experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage and attract
· Ability to work independently and with a team.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $40,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
