We are looking for animal lovers eager to work in the veterinary field. Applicants must be reliable, responsible, fast and willing learners, good communicators, be comfortable with computers, and veterinary or other animal care experience is an asset. Job includes reception duties, so customer service experience is a bonus. Must be able to work independently. Must be at least 18 years of age. Looking for an applicant who can work all year round.
Some duties include:
- restraining animals during appointments
- assisting before, during and after surgery
-Assisting taking x-rays
- receptionist duties (answering the phone, booking appointments)
Ideal applicants are passionate about animals and looking for a career in animal care. Earning a paycheck is secondary to helping animals. We prefer applicants to have their own vehicle.
Starting wage may be adjusted based on applicant experience.
MUST BE VACCINATED AGAINST COVID-19
Post Secondary education and Animal experience are preferred but not required.
