Required
Class 5 license
Preferred
Power mobile equipment operator certificate for skid steer or able to obtain.
-Skid steer experience will start out at the higher end of the salary. This is not mandatory however.
We are looking for people with the following attributes:
-Enjoy working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
-Reliable
-Enjoy physical activity and working with hands.
-In good physical shape and able to lift 50 lbs
-Have a strong interest in Landscape Construction and an appreciation for the built urban landscape.
- work in hot , dusty , dry weather . Possible fumes , dust.
- work in wet weather , cool weather etc.

What you will be doing while working with us:
-Reading and interpreting landscape plans.
-working with a crew of 3-4 people.
- Learning how to operate equipment.
-maintaining a safe, clean and organized workspace.
- Maintenance on machinery.
-Rough Grading and finish grading.
-Installing irrigation systems.
-Constructing paving stone and paver slab hardscapes.
-Building natural stone and segmental retaining walls.
-Planting trees, shrubs, perennials.
-Installing sod
-Installing crushed rock, mulch and fabric
-Installing specification grade low voltage irrigation systems.
-Forming and pouring concrete (small areas).
-Rewarding work , having fun , listening to music , and enjoying summer in the city .
Winter
-Skid steer operation for snow removal.
-Sidwalks, Ice melt application.
-Trucking ( class 5 single axel)
Hours of work:
Generally Monday to Friday 44 hrs/ week.
Weekend work where required due to unfavourable conditions.
We generally perform our construction operations from May 1st to November 1st.
SUB program in the winter to top up your E.I.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00-$24.00 per hour
