Job Summary
Reporting to the Landscaping Manager, the Seasonal Landscape Driver is responsible for a variety of tasks. This role delivers materials to crews on-site and picks up materials from suppliers. This role is also required to keep the yard inventory organized.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Able to maintain and operate machinery on site.
- Prioritize and pick up/deliver daily materials.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections.
- Pick up materials from suppliers.
- Manage Yard inventory.
- Load machines onto trucks
- Assist the Heavy Duty Mechanic with repairs when needed.
- Other duties as required.
Skills and Qualifications
- 3 years of previous experience in a similar role
- Previous experience doing deliveries for a Landscape company
- Class 5 driver's license required- No air brakes
- 3 years of personal vehicle insurance
- Team player
- Clean drivers abstract
- Must be able to lift a minimum 50 lbs
- Mechanically inclined
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to think outside the box
