CSN Caliber is currently seeking a skilled Transport Truck Driver to join our team in Red Deer, AB.
This role will be supporting all CSN-Lift locations in Red Deer and surrounding areas. Collaborating closely with the managing owner to ensure efficient and effective towing operations. Our mission to provide top-notch automotive repair services. If you have a strong understanding of the collision repair industry this opportunity may be of interest.
Key Requirements:
- Class 5 Drivers License is mandatory.
- Clean driving record: 5-year commercial Drivers Abstract required.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Transport work.
- Experience operating Dodge 4500 flat deck with 3 car wedge trailer.
- Ability to use GPS to find the quickest and safest route.
- Adherence to safety protocols to ensure the well-being of the operator and others on the road.
- Mechanical knowledge is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and service skills to interact positively with customers.
- Basic understanding of vehicle mechanics to diagnose issues and suggest solutions.
- Capability to handle roadside incidents professionally and efficiently.
- Knowledge and compliance of the National Safety Code.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to our Territory Manager, your duties will include:
- Receive communication from the company dispatcher and transporting vehicles to and from CSN Lift locations
- Safely loading, transporting, and unloading vehicles using a tow truck or flatbed.
- Providing exceptional customer service during vehicle pick-up and drop-off.
- Ensuring all paperwork and documentation are accurately completed.
- Demonstrating professionalism and courtesy in all interactions.
