Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. This role requires a commitment to delivering exceptional service and maintaining the integrity of freight during transit.
Duties
- Operate and drive various types of trucks to transport freight to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, utilizing forklifts or other heavy equipment as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport.
- Ensure the proper handling of freight, including securing loads to prevent damage during transit.
- Perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance on the truck as needed to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) is required.
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a strong understanding of freight transportation.
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is preferred.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Good communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.

Pay: $30.00-$36.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
