We’re looking for a sharp and hands-on Trading Operations Analyst to support our trading and FinOps team. You’ll work directly with the Trading and FinOps Team to streamline the OTC desk, Market Making operations and a crypto Wallet, and help drive cross-functional projects across trading, operations, and finance. This role is perfect for someone who’s detail-oriented, thrives in ambiguity, and wants to get deep exposure to the mechanics of crypto trading across CEXs, DEXs, and OTC venues. This role is remote with a preference for Canada-based applicants in the Eastern Time Zone.
Role Overview
Reporting to the Director of Financial Operations, the Trading Operations Analyst will be responsible for the duties and obligations listed below.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage end-to-end onboarding of liquidity providers, institutional clients, and exchange partners.
- Serve as the point of contact for OTC desk clients, addressing routine queries and trade-related support via emails and other Trading channels.
- Identify and escalate operational risks or inefficiencies to improve process effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Trading, Legal, Finance) to support seamless client experience and trading operations.
- Collaborate with the Manager on new projects and tasks.
- Help improve and streamline the Trading Desk
- Learn to navigate different trading venues (CEXs, OTC desks, DEXs) and execution tools.
- Track ongoing projects, action items, and deadlines; ensure cross-functional follow-ups are completed on time.
- Serve as liaison between internal teams, partners, and stakeholders.
- Develop, produce, and maintain procedures, process maps, and documentation as required
- Assisting in all stages of product creation, including design, development and validation
- Support production issues and escalations as needed.
- Perform ad hoc work as needed.
- Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, similar technical field of study.
- Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in digital assets and financial operations.
- Knowledge of Spreads, Order Books, market making and hedging.
- Have used CEXs, DEXs and crypto wallets.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Excel; additional experience with data tools, automation platforms, or scripting languages is a plus.
- Fluent in data, comfortable in ambiguity, and able to move fast while thinking clearly.
- You’re highly organized, detail-driven and self-motivated.
- Highly adaptive and a flexible team player with a strong work ethic
- Flexibility to work outside of standard business hours when needed, particularly in a fast-moving, 24/7 market environment.
- Excellent communication skills in verbal and written English.
