Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tow Truck (Flatbed) Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. As an operator you will be responsible for safely transporting vehicles, assisting stranded motorists, and ensuring that all towing operations are conducted in compliance with safety regulations.
Duties
- Operate NRC TB40
- Respond promptly to calls for assistance and provide excellent customer service during each interaction.
- Perform basic mechanical assessments on vehicles to determine the best towing method.
- Maintain accurate records of towing activities, including vehicle condition and mileage.
- Ensure that all equipment is in proper working order and conduct routine maintenance checks on the tow truck.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while on the road and at job sites.
Qualifications
- Proven mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic automotive repairs.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor towards clients in stressful situations.
- Valid commercial driving license (AZ) required for operating tow trucks.
- Experience operating as an owner operator of a business.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Please note this position is not just a driver position. NLC is looking for a partner in Sudbury. We are looking to expand and start operations in Sudbury, North Bay, Timmins, Sault Ste Marie. If your willing to go the distance and prove your the right candidate, you will be cut in as a partner of our Tow & Recovery division in Northern Ontario.
Interviews will be held at our office in Innisfil Ontario.

Pay: $17.75-$33.35 per hour
Expected hours: 44 – 60 per week
