Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tailor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fashion and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that every garment is tailored to perfection. This role involves working closely with customers to understand their needs and providing high-quality alterations and custom tailoring services.
Duties to
- Perform alterations on various types of garments, including dresses, suits, and casual wear.
- Take accurate measurements to ensure the perfect fit for each client.
- Consult with customers to discuss their specific tailoring needs and preferences.
- Use sewing machines and hand-sewing techniques to execute alterations and repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and materials are readily available.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues related to tailoring services.
- Keep up-to-date with fashion trends and tailoring techniques to enhance service offerings.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a tailor or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong sewing skills with proficiency in using various sewing machines.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.25-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week
