Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tile Setter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in flooring installation and be proficient in tile laying techniques. This role requires the ability to read blueprints and execute projects with precision. As a Tile Setter, you will play a crucial role in transforming spaces by installing tiles in residential and commercial settings.
Duties
- Measure and cut tiles to fit designated areas, ensuring precise alignment and spacing.
- Lay tiles according to design specifications, utilizing various materials such as ceramic, porcelain, or stone.
- Prepare surfaces for tile installation, including cleaning, leveling, and applying adhesives.
- Read and interpret blueprints and project plans to determine layout and design requirements.
- Perform caulking and grouting tasks to ensure durability and aesthetic appeal of finished work.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and handymen, to complete projects efficiently.
Experience
- Proven experience in flooring installation with a focus on tile laying is preferred.
- Familiarity with hand tools and equipment used in tile setting is essential.
- Ability to read blueprints accurately to execute designs as intended.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 44 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
