Swim/Aquatic Instructors – Markham Location

WD Swim is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Swim/Aquatic Instructors to join our team at the Markham facility!
About the Role
As a Swim/Aquatic Instructor, you’ll be an essential part of creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment for swimmers of all ages and skill levels. Your passion for swimming and commitment to delivering high-quality instruction will help ensure every participant has a positive and rewarding experience.
What You’ll Do
- Lead small group swim lessons (up to 4 students per class)
- Deliver safe, effective, and inclusive aquatic programs
- Engage and motivate participants of all ages and abilities
- Communicate clearly and effectively with swimmers, parents, and team members
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming pool environment
What We’re Looking For
- Passion for swimming, fitness, and working with people of all ages
- Previous experience instructing aquatic programs is an asset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR-C certification (required)
- Aquafit Instructor certification is a plus
- Reliable, team-oriented, and adaptable to a dynamic environment
- New instructors are welcome — full training is provided!
Availability
- Must be available for evening shifts (Mon–Fri) and/or weekend shifts (Sat & Sun)
- Flexible scheduling to fit your availability
Hours
- Part-time: Up to 20 hours/week
- Full-time: 20+ hours/week
