WD Swim is seeking energetic, dedicated Swim/Aquatic Instructors to join our Richmond Hill team. If you’re passionate about swimming, enjoy teaching, and love working with people of all ages, we’d love to hear from you.
Role Overview
As a Swim/Aquatic Instructor, you’ll lead safe, engaging, and skill-focused swim programs for participants of all ages and abilities. Your professionalism, enthusiasm, and care will help every swimmer build confidence in the water.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach small group swim lessons (up to 4 students per class)
- Maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment in and around the pool
- Communicate effectively with swimmers, parents, and fellow instructors
- Support swimmers in building skills, confidence, and water safety awareness
What We’re Looking For
- Passion for swimming, fitness, and helping others succeed
- Previous swim instruction experience (an asset, not required)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Required: Standard First Aid & CPR-C certification
- Aquafit Instructor certification (asset)
- Reliable, adaptable, and a strong team player
- Available for evening (Mon–Fri) and/or weekend (Sat–Sun) shifts
- New instructors welcome — full training provided!
Hours & Scheduling
- Flexible schedule based on your availability
- Part-time: up to 20 hours/week
- Full-time: 20+ hours/week
