Job description
Vissers Sod Farm is currently looking for a labourer to join our sod installation crew; just east of Oshawa. To install sod with a team of 5 employees at various projects including new sports fields, schools and commercial buildings throughout the GTA. The crew takes a company vehicle to site and is paid for drive time to and from the jobsite.
This position will be permanent, full time. Salary: $20.00/hr, approximately 55-60 hrs/week. Monday – Friday 6/7am-6:30pm
Skills and Qualifications:
Valid driver's license;
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Sod Installation;
Soil preparation;
Sod cutting and rolling with small equipment;
Heavy lifting required;
On the job training.
