About the Role
The BSG IT, Technology strategic initiatives team is looking for a student full-time for the Fall 2025 co-op term. The student’s primary responsibilities will be focused on proactively and holistically supports strategic activities that strategically guide business and operating models, people, processes, and technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support for the organization’s business applications from a data analytics perspective. Analyze and follow service calls through to resolution using the ticket management tool; includes the management of incidents, service requests, or change
- Provide support in research, troubleshooting, development and testing as required.
- In collaboration with the team, document applications, operational procedures, changes, and interventions in accordance with established
- Support activity reporting efforts as required.
Knowledge and Experience Required
- Currently enrolled in an accredited post-secondary or Master’s education program.
- Completed at least 3 years of university or college studies in Digital Transformation, Computer Science, Programming, or any other IT-related field.
- Analytical skills and strong problem-solving skills.
- A good understanding of formal change management and incident management Action-oriented self-driven person who can perform his or her duties with limited supervision. Strong attention to detail.
- Strong planning, prioritizing and time management skills - must be able to undertake and manage multiple tasks at the same time and work under deadlines and operational
- Enjoys collaboration in a team Excellent work ethic.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written).
- Familiarity with one or more of the following an asset: Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, Databases (SQL, Oracle), Power Platform,
- IT Cloud experience;
- Advanced Excel experience;
- AWS Data analytics would be considered an asset.
Note: Offices continue to be central to collaboration and Brookfield’s identity. This position requires the employee to be on-site for a minimum of 4 days to perform most effectively.
