We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sterile Processing Technician to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all surgical instruments and equipment are properly cleaned, sterilized, and maintained to meet the highest standards. Responsibilities
- Clean, sterilize, and prepare instruments and equipment following established protocols.
- Inspect instruments for cleanliness and functionality before use in surgical procedures.
- Operate sterilization equipment, including autoclaves and ultrasonic cleaners.
- Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and inventory of supplies.
- Collaborate with staff to ensure timely availability of instruments for procedures.
- Adhere to safety standards and infection control practices at all times.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with industry standards.
Experience
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols.
Required Qualifications: Completion of Sterile Processing Technician program.
