As a Social Media & Marketing Coordinator, you will develop and implement social media strategies that promotes Somerville Merchandising Inc.’s brand and products while creating an online community presence. This includes creating content, engaging with audiences, analyzing data, and optimizing campaigns to achieve specific marketing goals.
· Develop and execute social media strategies that align with business goals and target audience interests.
· Stay updated with all new developments within the organization, through interactions with internal teams such as product development, graphics, sales, etc. for ensuring brand consistency across all social media channels.
· Create and curate engaging content for social media platforms, including graphics, videos, and written copy.
· Monitor and analyze social media metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
· Support sales by cultivating leads from social media campaigns through a planned approach.
· Manage social media accounts by responding to comments and messages and fostering a positive online community.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure social media efforts are integrated with other marketing initiatives.
· Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in social media marketing to continuously improve strategies and tactics.
· Identify and engage with influencers and brand advocates to increase brand awareness and drive engagement on social media.

Qualifications
· A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field or working towards completion.
· Strong knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) and their respective audiences.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills for creating engaging content and interacting with audiences.
· Ability to develop content strategies and create visually appealing content.
· Ability to analyze data, track campaign performance, and make data-driven decisions.
· Understand search engine optimization principles that help improve content visibility.
Job Type: Fixed term contract

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
