Job Summary
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking local Shop Hand to join our team full-time. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on experience, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently and as a team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day operations in the shop and other locations (fabrication, mechanical, yard maintenance)
- Operate a variety of power tools, including drills and grinders
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Support lead fabricator and other shop staff as needed
- Load and unload materials and equipment
- Perform basic maintenance and repairs under supervision
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license (must be able to drive for work-related tasks)
- Solid experience using power tools and grinders
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy items and climb onto trucks
- Punctual, dependable, and safety-minded
- Attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain an orderly shop environment.
- Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to shop operations.
