Jardeg is currently recruiting for a Shop and Yard Labourer for work with Technical Workforce Inc. at our Shop and Yard in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan
As a Shop and Yard labourer you will be responsible for:
Identifying and report hazardous or unsafe areas.- Demonstrating understanding of hand signals.
- Demonstrating protocol for using radios.
- General clean up, sweeping, etc
- Set up fueling equipment and refuel equipment.
- Set up propane heaters.
- Prepare for each task.
- Organizing equipment and supplies.
- Attend safety meetings.
- Identify necessary tools.
- Dewatering
- Remove snow
- Assisting with inventory.
- Organizing and maintaining yard.
- Install safety fences and railings.
- Identify appropriate tools for necessary task.
- Handle all power tools.
- Use, skill saw, drills, sawzall, concrete vibrator, compressor, jackhammer in a safe manner.
Requirements:
- Construction experience- 1 year (preferred)
- Driving Licence (required)
- Experience operating a forklift-(preferred but not required)
