Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled SHOP FOREMAN to oversee our Manufacturing Company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing at least 2 years as a FOREMAN. This involves managing and coordinating the work of the team, ensuring that they have all the resources and support they need to perform their task. You will need to ensure that all products are produced in a timely, cost-effective and safe manner while also ensuring that quality standards are met.
Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate all activities of the production team.
- Assign repair jobs and ensure timely completion
- Order parts and maintain inventory levels
- Train new employees on shop procedures
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations
Experience:
- A degree in manufacturing or a related field
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and diagnose issues
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Shop Supervisor or similar role
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plus
