We are seeking reliable and hardworking Heavy Equipment Yard Personnel to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for the organization, maintenance, and safekeeping of heavy equipment and machinery. You will ensure that equipment is stored properly, pre and post inspected regularly, and prepared for transportation .
Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to safety are essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- cleaning equipment equipment with pressure washing equipment
- assist customers with loading and unloading equipment
- move, organize and inspect equipment pre and post rentals
- pickup parts, hot shot trips,
- assist mechanics if needed.
- perform other duties as required by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Candidate must have a valid Class 5 Drivers License
- Previous experience working with heavy equipment or preferred.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery such as skid steers/ loaders is an asset
- Basic mechanical knowledge and the ability to perform routine maintenance and inspections.
- ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks.
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
Working Conditions:
- Work is performed primarily outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Occasional travel to job sites may be required.
- Some weekend or evening hours may be necessary, depending on project deadlines.
Compensation:
- Competitive pay based on experience.
You must be motivated, self-directed, enthusiastic, hold a valid driver's license, experience with heavy equipment is an asset.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour
