Position Overview:
We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Shop/Yard Assistant to support our service and sales operations. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors and being part of a fast-paced environment. You’ll play a key part in ensuring our trailers and property are always in top condition, helping to maintain our professional appearance and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wash and clean trailers to maintain a professional presentation
- Perform yard maintenance, including mowing, trimming, and keeping the property neat
- Assist with trailer Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs) to ensure quality and readiness
- Touch up and detail trailers on the lot to maintain sellable standards
- Change and install trailer tires as needed
- Install accessories and add-ons, such as aluminum toolboxes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop area
- Provide general assistance across the shop and yard as required
Qualifications:
- Ability to perform physical tasks and work in an outdoor environment
- Mechanical aptitude or experience working with tools is an asset
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
