We are looking for a dependable and versatile individual to join our team. This role combines shipping & receiving responsibilities with mechanical assembly and crating support. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working both in warehouse operations and in hands-on tasks involving assembly and packaging for shipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform all shipping & receiving duties (unloading, checking, documenting, labeling, storing)
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately for shipment
- Build and reinforce crates, pallets, or special packaging as needed
- Assist with light mechanical assembly of equipment or components
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Support general warehouse operations as required
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, picking, and packing
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform light assemblies using hand and power tools
- Experience with custom crating or packaging (an asset)
- Forklift experience or certification (an asset)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks safely
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork
