Acmedent Corporation is a growing Canadian distributor of dental supplies and equipment. We’re known for friendly service, fast shipping, and a can‑do attitude. We’re expanding our warehouse team and looking for a reliable Shipper/Receiver to help keep orders moving smoothly.
Role Summary
The Shipper/Receiver is responsible for accurate and timely receiving, put‑away, picking, packing, and shipping of customer orders. You’ll use our warehouse tools and software to keep inventory accurate and shipments on schedule. Experience with QuickBooks and ShipStation is an asset.
What You’ll Do
- Receive inbound product: unload, verify counts, inspect for damage, and process receipts.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately; prepare labels and paperwork.
- Create shipments via couriers (e.g., Canada Post, UPS, FedEx, Purolator) and schedule pickups.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and timely adjustments.
- Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and safe; follow 5S and safety practices.
- Assist with returns (RMA), restocking, and kitting/light assembly as needed.
- Communicate with Customer Service and Purchasing to resolve order/stock issues.
- Use software tools (QuickBooks for inventory/transactions; ShipStation for shipping) to process orders and shipments.
What You Bring
- 1–2+ years in a warehouse, fulfillment, or logistics role (shipping/receiving preferred).
- Comfort using computers and scanners; ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Nice to have: Experience with QuickBooks (inventory, bills, receipts) and ShipStation (rate shopping, batch labels).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with counts, labels, and paperwork.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely; stand/walk for extended periods.
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player with good communication skills.
- Eligible to work in Canada.
Schedule & Compensation
- Hours: Monday–Friday, daytime shift (exact hours to be discussed).
- Compensation: Competitive hourly wage commensurate with experience.
