WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

St. Mary’s University is seeking applications for a sessional instructor with a teaching specialization in Curriculum and Instruction. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching the Introduction to Curricular Design (Elementary) course, which teaches students how to write effective Understanding by Design (UBD) lesson plans and to practice executing small-scale lessons within a growth mindset framework. The ideal candidate would have a successful track record of teaching preservice teachers in this area. The Faculty of Education at St. Mary’s comprises a small, collaborative faculty and staff. The successful candidate will also be expected to collaborate with the new Executive Director of the Woitas Centre to orient the course to foster an increased focus on inclusive education.
