POSITION SUMMARY
The Faculty of Education at The King’s University is seeking a Sessional Instructor in Education for the Fall
term of the 2025-26 academic year.
COURSE DESCRIPTION
EDUC 301: Educational Learning Theories and Applications
Lectures and discussions focus on learning in the classroom situation: the processes by which students
learn and the factors that facilitate/inhibit learning. Specifically examined are learning theories,
motivational theories, cognitive styles, discipline practices and assessment approaches.
This class will be held on Tuesday and Thursdays from 3:30 - 4:50.
QUALIFICATIONS
- MA or PhD in Education or related field
- Professional teacher certification
