As a Service Technician, you’ll meet our amazing clients across the province and provide repair, maintenance and installation services to get them back to enjoying their hot tubs and swim spas.
Job Duties:
Your typical day will consist of a mixture of work in our shop with other Service Technicians, and out in the field, on-site at our clients’ residences. In the shop you will prepare for your day, ensuring your van is tidy, organized and stocked with everything you need for the day’s service calls. Everyone pitches-in to make sure the shop is clean and orderly.
Service calls may range from simple filter replacements or a winterization procedure to troubleshooting technical issues, all while communicating clearly with our customers and offering them exceptional service.
To mix things up, when we receive a delivery of hot tubs or swim spas from our manufacturer, you will conduct quality checks, prepare them for delivery and then deliver to residential areas across mainland Nova Scotia.
Very occasionally you may be expected to work on the weekend if we have a special event or are busier than normal.
Required:
We are looking for someone who can work independently, after a period of extensive on-boarding and training (online and job shadowing another Service Technician), and has strong customer service skills. You will also have:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic Computer Literacy – all of our calls and your work is tracked in our online software
- system to support customer billing and warranty claims
- Clean Driver Abstract
- 5 years’ experience in a technical service environment
- Ability to push, pull and move equipment and/or supplies up to 50lbs
